“Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside
them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe.” -Neil Gaiman
Feeling a vibe of both modern scientific and old-fashioned romanticism. Sounds almost steampunk, but not quite. It's like my brain is fixated on a modern meteorology theme and the whole science behind it, cumulonimbus clouds, radar screen imagery, lightning, but my heart wants to take a dive into the Pre-Raphaelites and other 19th century romantic stuff. What an odd paradox.
“Thoughts are the shadows of our feelings -- always darker, emptier and simpler.”
