If one is in serious danger of falling head over heels with somebody, the other party is indifferent and you are not in distress about it, does that mean that it's just a passing thing or does the "If you love someone, set them free. If they come back they're yours; if they don't they never were" thing apply in the case? If one has no intention of pursuing things to a level where things might start developing and the indifference of the other party already indicates that there is no longevity to this matter so, would it be safe to assume that one is, indeed, romanticising the whole thing?
