Also, on another note.... Did you see what Altoona has done?

Beginning at 1 p.m. Wednesday, the city of Altoona will change its name to "POM Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold," after the latest film by sarcastic documentarian Morgan Spurlock.

Spurlock, who gained more than 20 pounds by eating nothing but McDonald's food for a month in his 2004 film "Super Size Me," paid the city $25,000 to rename itself after his movie to underscore its message.

I forget where you are from. (EDIT: Altoona?)

But I grew up in Franklin County (southern central), where it was pretty rednecky... even if not as bad as Perry County in Central PA, or further north. My parents were imports, so my accent is not bad, but when I get tired, I can hear a slight twang in my speech.

Lol, yup -- I saw that about two weeks ago. Hilarious. Altoona really has no other claim to fame, though, does it? Aside from del Grosso Tomato sauce? It was just a temporary change, wasn't it? (2-3 months or something?)

60 days, yeah. I didn't hear about it until I drove through town over Easter and saw a BIG FUCKING SIGN on top of Sheetz proclaiming the towns new name.

I guess it officially started yesterday.

This just seems so ass-backwards to me.
