It's funny how some of the things I think are going to result in a world-wide cataclysm simply fizzle out... and how other minor, mundane things of seemingly little consequence blow up spectacularly in my face.

“Pleasure to me is wonder—the unexplored, the unexpected, the thing that is hidden and the changeless thing that lurks behind superficial mutability. To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft

I just broke out in hives for the 3rd time this week.

And it happened in the middle of lecture. I tried to ignore it and just make it through lecture. If I don't scratch it will usually go away. And I had an epi-pen on me, as well as benedryl in my car. So I just sat there covered in hives taking notes. My professor noticed and like... paused class to call attention to it.

them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe.” -Neil Gaiman

Is there a way to reply to "Reputation" messages?
    Smile! Now!

    Some people are like Slinkys.
Useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

    End of line.

Don't expect another to rectify your own insecurities. Growth comes with the transformation of your own viewpoint on the issue. In fact, you can drain another person by trying to bolster your hole with their opinions or presence, or become disappointed when you uncover their own insecurities.

Am I playing games with her? Even if I am, is that so bad? People like games... right?

I used to carry an epi-pen with me to school when I was younger. Then, if I recall correctly, at some point it was mandated that it had to stay in the nurse's office. What the hell is the point of having to have someone make a run to the nurses office if I'm dying from anaphylactic shock?

I know, I know. Protecting the little kiddies from a needle perhaps the size of my pinky nail is worth my life, right?
