    You can say that again.

I read a really good thread with lots of awesome conversation, but then I realize it's 20+ pages long.

I see all sorts of insightful posts on the first 5-10 pages and I want to reply to all of them, but then I think someone may have already said what I want to say in subsequent posts all throughout the next 10 pages. So I think I should read all of them but I read 2 more pages and find even more insightful posts I want to reply to. I think of skipping to the end but I don't want to miss anything good. So then I just keep reading and by the time I get to the end I can't remember what pages had the insightful posts I liked most and I can't think of anything to say.

So then I just sit there and get all confoozed and inevitably leave the thread without saying anything because IT'S ALL JUST TOO MUCH.

But other than that, I'm good

The worst mistake people make in political arguments is assuming that the other side is not trying to do the right thing. This simple oversight makes productive conversation nearly impossible.
