I've got what you want right here.

Tell me how you want it, shit: up the rear, or out my ass.

Maybe I'll grow you a pair while I'm at it. Send your coward ass running to my face, to man up to your shit.

Shit-faced at the thought of losing your "edge?"

    Let's get on with it!
Does anyone else think this comes off as talking to one's self?

    Your words:

I very much would like to thank everyone for their responses, thereby making a friendly social gesture in an attempt to experience a closeness with other members of the forum. At the same time, I see this desire for what it is, evolutionarily driven, and it disgusts me. I am really not very thankful, and yet would benefit from stating that I am because it would perhaps welcome more people to respond (maybe make me more likeable?). I long to be something more than a fucking selfish monkey who justifies his actions in ways that better suit his selfishness. But the way our current concept of selflessness works, one must in essense be selfish for another person to be considered selfless. If I donate a kidney to help a dying child, I am in essense doing the same thing as if the child were selfish and demanded the kidney from me. Why is it that people who give up parts of themselves for others are considered so great? It is because people enjoy the fact that there are people like that, all the more for them.
Those are not the words of someone really looking for help.

And anyone who chooses to mock the act of donating an organ to a child is not going to be someone I care to support, and certainly not befriend. I never told you to kill yourself, I told you to get the show on the road. What were the words you used? Oh, right - "selfish monkey." Your thread was indeed a show: A regular three-ring circus. You played with everyone in that thread and I didn't buy the show for one minute.

One can only imagine what you will think of the person who may donate an organ to you one day so that you can live.
Perhaps you can tell them they "disgust you." Better yet, call them "selfish."

I still don't understand why something that's the product of cause-effect, or in this case evolution, is ugly. Life is beautiful.

I had an insane night. I haven't been out in SO LONG. I almost forgot that other humans existed. I had so much fun O_o. It's strange

I almost got dragged on stage by a live band to sing along with them. But I declined. They dedicated a song to me instead. That was sort of cool. Felt like a groupie

“Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside
them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe.” -Neil Gaiman

You just reminded me of someone in this forum who doesn't like John Lennon's lyrics:

    Imagine there's no heaven
    Wonder if you can
    No hell below us
    Above us only sky
    Imagine all the people
    Living for today

    Imagine there's no countries
    It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
    And no religion too
    Imagine all the people
    Living life in peace

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

    Imagine no possessions
    It's easy if you try
No need for greed or hunger
    A brotherhood of man
    Imagine all the people
    Sharing all the world

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one.
