Do you ever wonder if people join sites like TypeC or other similar sites to find mates? I find this kind of strange since that's not the intent of these sites. But then people cruise gyms for like-bodied individuals so it shouldn't surprise me at all.
No, I know that people do. I knew an ENTP who made a typology site for that sole purpose.
Really? Maybe I can guess this site.
I suppose any place where people congregate can be considered an opportunity to meet a potential. Perhaps the aspect I find strange is the focus on potentials instead of the focus on the hobby or interest.
At my alma mater, there used to be women who went solely to get their M.R.S. degree, taking basketweaving and other useless courses so they could find a man. Never could understand this, considering how they could best spend their money on an education instead of being so relationship focused.
I've said it before, TypeC can be worse than match.com.
I think it is inevitable though when you get people who are mentally stimulated into casual like minded conversations where they reveal more about themselves. For me personally, I like to keep the forum separate from RL since I like this place, and want to keep it that way.
