Had a long day at O-week at University of Sydney: joined about 6 societies [realistically able to participate in 2], and to top it off, had an interesting talk by a very important chemist over organic syntheses. That speaker so happened to have an International Year of Chemistry lapel.

I swear to God my husband has a plate in his head that destroys cell phone batteries.... Third phone that he has completely killed to the point where it won't even power on. Impressive.
