    Nirvana, from one album alone:

In The Pines AKA Where Did You Sleep Last Night (Ledbelly)

Jesus Doesn't Want Me For A Sunbeam (Vaselines)

The Man Who Sold The World (Bowie)

Plateau and Oh Me (Meat Puppets)

And of course: YouTube - Nirvana - Seasons In The Sun

Jose Gonzalez's cover of The Knife's "Hearbeats" is very good, but the original is the poop. How about Blue Cheer's psychedelic meltdown of Eddie Cochran's "Summertime Blues" is awesome.

And then there is "Molly's Lips", which is another Nirvana cover of a Vaselines song. I like it better than these. Nirvana was a great cover band, actually.

    ^ Where's Bill Withers' credit?

Velvet Underground: I Found a Reason --> Cat Power
Neil Young: Harvest Moon --> Elliott Smith
Echo and the Bunnymen: The Killing Moon --> Nouvelle Vague
Jacques Brel: Ne Me Quitte Pas --> Nina Simone
Phil Collins: Against All Odds --> The Postal Service
