Hmm... well, that's not the same. Holy water can only work if the power of the belief implies is real. Or else, the water must actually be imbued with something that has nothing to do blessing, which makes it "anti-vampire" water rather than holy water. Who knows? Maybe the ritual involves purifying the water, or putting garlic in it? In that case, "holy water" would work.

Holy water that has merely been blessed has no physics behind it, which means any power it has would be based on the deity that gave it power. In other words, for holy water to actually work, God would have to exist independently of people's faith in him. In other words, if blessing were the only component that made it work, then Holy Water's effectiveness on vampires could be used to prove God's existence. Or at least that the Priests were capable of wielding holy magic due to their faith.

I think a more realistic take is that if vampires exist, the holy water thing is actually myth and can't hurt them, though the other things can.

I would be human though I would be a super human like Jean of the X-Men. She's incredibly all powerful. Totally whacked out nuts...but still.

In my recent travels in the world of Ferelden, I have learned that being a werewolf is a torment, not to mention that there are elves involved. Vampirism becomes me better as well, so that's what I'd go for.

I was going to say vampire and even voted for one, but that is a way better idea. I always wanted to read minds and being immortal seems more frightening than appealing. Plus vampires are not much different from ordinary corpses. Yet being just human is boring, so yeah... I'll settle for it if I get a special gift.

And not many girls want to be werevolves, right? Who would think.
