Well, yeah, but Werewolves are hairy and ugly. Vampires are pretty and pale.

Besides, I already hate sunlight. I used to complain about it all the time, and still wish I could do stuff at night instead of in the daytime.

Also, I think holy water can't work if you aren't religious. And I'm not.

I would be a werewolf. Vampires are unnerving parasites who prance pretentiously. At least werewolves have some honor and dignity (so says my prejudice), and they harbor this human/savage dichotomy that I find particularly fascinating.

That part always seemed to be bs to me.

Like, "Oh, I don't believe that bullet or jumping off a cliff or drinking poison will kill me"... so it doesn't? Ha.

I'm too sexy to be anything but a vampire. But none of that sparkling in the sun bullshit used to enhance my sexual allure. I'm a true creature of the night, k?

But then you would eat yourself. Everyone knows that cats are a gourmet treat for the werewolves.

Well, if we're talking the Twilight versions I'd have to go for vampire. There really aren't any drawbacks to being one other than extreme thirst for the first 10 years or so. They don't have to sleep during the day, sunlight doesn't hurt them, they still have sex, there aren't any inconvenient vulnerabilities (eg holy water, garlic, crucifixes, stakes).

I'm not quite sure about how the Twilight world werewolves work (given that we don't hear much about them), but the shape-shifters who take wolf form in the books/movie don't have many drawbacks either. They are fairly bound into packs though and thus unable to enjoy a solitary, wandering existence. With the pack-mind experience you'd never have any friggin privacy. And even their ability to shapeshift and thus their immortality is dependent upon the proximity of vampires. And that imprint thing? Eff that.
