Jaguar has no type. He scoffs at such a thing!
Why be a type when you can be anything you wanna be!
He would never allow himself to be pinned down to such a mind set.

    Is this so?

You know, a thread like this starts to run out of steam when the same 10 people are the only ones posting over and over
If you could be anything you want, I bet you'd be disappointed--am I right?

No, but you did link to a thread where someone made an extended argument for me being ESFP and then sarcastically implied that I'm not ENTP, so--put the pieces together?

I don't believe you. ENTPs are almost always competitive when it comes to games/puzzles/anything that can be made into a mental competition with others.

I think you claiming you have no interest in winning just falls under the above statement about ENTPs projecting an apathetic image but caring more than they let on. They don't want people to know they care about winning because that gives away too much information, and it could create some sort of vulnerability--which they don't want you to know they have.

Yes, but I think Ne also plays a major role here. ENTPs are funny because Ne really really needs the outer world's approval before it can decide if any of its ideas are good (this is the main difference between Ne and Ni), but ENTPs will turn around and Ti you to death just to "prove" that they don't care what anyone else thinks, where Ne+Fe is actually very dependent upon external approval.

It was really funny in the thread with Zarc when she said that ENTPs almost never get upset about anything and don't need anyone's external validation or approval at all--THE CON IS WORKING!

I think TPs argue to win, too. Ti can get awfully annoyed by perceived logical inconsistencies in others and will argue just to prove an irrelevant point more often than anyone else. Ti serves exactly the same function as Fi here because it treats logic with the same utmost seriousness that Fi treats ethics--both have an internal and subjectively validated sense of what is The Truth, and both will argue that until the cows come home.

If anything, TJs (especially ITJs) will choose not to argue out a bunch of hypothetical nonsense, because Te doesn't see any way that that's conducive to completing useful external goals.

That would be one of the most impressive con jobs by an ESFP in the history of typology.

Anyway, we already have an ISFP who likes black cats on this forum. We don't need any more!
