As far as Lauren Ashley goes, I've seen her communication style to be very common in many ENFJs. Since many introverts are more verbal about their opinions online, I find it very easy to buy INFJ. She's got that fiery passionate Fe debate thing going on.

(Oh, just read the ISFJ argument. I still think she's got a characteristic assumptiveness that I always associate with NJ types. Its always really obvious to me because its foreign.)

ISFJs can be pretty fiery debaters too, when they get worked up about something. I know at least one who admits to using forums to get out his dark Ti/Ne underbelly...

Anyway though, why don't I think LA is INFJ? Her posts rarely encourage considering different interpretations; they tend to just explain her own in detail.

Granted, that isn't a bad thing--I don't usually back up every side in an argument either, but Ni doms (especially INFJs who often feel a sense of duty to keep things civil) almost can't help doing this because they see so many different perspectives at once.

When I think INFJ, I think of people like toonia, fidelia and silentlyhonest. It takes a LOT to get them off their game, and their posts are often more inquisitive explorations of the different ways one could look at the issue (Ni) than simply rote explanations of the reasons for their own personal viewpoints (Si.)

I know the INFJ types you are talking about. (Like the three mentioned above.) But i've noticed the other Ni dom types too.
The kind that makes an argument like this.

"The dog just drank a gallon of water, did you forget to give the dog water today? You must have!" Its taking a sign or a symbol of something and then connecting it to things that may or may not be true. And then combined with having the decisiveness of a J type. I see this a lot in Ni doms. (Not all of them.) NJ's in general.

(Oh geez. Its my thread and I can go off topic if I want to!!)

(And in attempt to correct my derail. Jaguar ESTP)
