    Talking Blonde/ Senior Moments

We all enjoy a good laugh and I reckon that these particular moments are about the best around.

So give up your own blonde/ senior moments for mutual enjoyment and embarrassment.

I'll start (this is what produced the idea) :-
Okay I've been looking at building up my computer with water cooling. I've researched EVERYTHING (you should know that when an INTP says that it's to be taken literally) for the last month or two! I know what to buy from where, what works best with what and what's worth the money and what's a pile of rubbish.

I just ordered all the parts. I had 2 spreadsheets to assist me in making the decisions of where to buy it all from. I was organised damn it.

Just one thing that I forgot.

It kinda makes all this nice new tech turning up tomorrow so much scrap metal and wasted money.

I forgot to order the frickin distilled water to put in it!!!!
Isn't it time for a colourful metaphor?

You have to order distilled water?

You can? I always thought that was tap water.

(Seriously, what definition of distilled are we talking here? The closest "over the counter" version I know of is reverse osmosis.)

The water I buy is filtered, probably, but it sure isn't distilled.

Isn't distilled where the chlorine is removed. Or I am I thinking of something else?

It's typically done by boiling and condensing water. In theory, it's about creating (close to) 100% pure water.

Yes, you can get distilled water in the grocery store here, just as you can get filtered water, spring water, fancy tap water (Aquafina or Dasani)......

All my moments are blonde moments....being a "natural blonde" is a favorite excuse of mine
