    Edit:-
@Wildcat. The Earl of Sandwich would probably disagree with your decision on what is and what is not a sandwich!!

    Typical Jonny foreigners!!
It is true Johnny the Sandwich spent a time outside of the UK.
The Laird was not exactly a foreigner though.

How can the tutor disagree with his best pupil?

Without such disagreement no innovation will come. Stagnant water is unchallenged by tides or flow.
Isn't it time for a colourful metaphor?

I love lots of different kinds of sandwiches. Reuben is probably my favorite, followed by grilled cheese with grape jelly. On traditional cold cuts I'm happy with tomato, mustard, onion and romaine lettuce with good meat and cheese. (anything but bologna or American cheese) Horseradish cheddar is good with roast beef. Smoked turkey is good with bleu cheese and tomatoes
    I don't wanna!

Cream cheese and berries-of-the-forest preserves on lightly-toasted oat bread.

Avocado and Brick cheese in a toasted pita with spiced hummus and arrugala.

Grilled cheese with razor-thin slices of ham and tomato.

    cheers,
