must have been a bad make... Monte Cristo's are a bit too sweet for some people but I think they're amazing. If the meat was fatty, it was probably not a good place to eat one.

Oh and I am not talking about a deep-fried monte cristo. I've never had one of those and will never have one of those. I'm talking about the right kind of Monte Cristo, made with french toast type bread....hmmmmmmmmmm

Oh, that's the difference. This was deep fried I guess.

yeah that just sounds disgusting. It's a shame it shares the same name as my beloved edible entree!

Roastbeef. I absolutely adore and love roastbeef sandwiches. Now I'm wondering why I'm not eating one. Even worse, I'm wondering why I'm not eating a sandwich in general. Obviously, the logical plan would be to get off the couch and make something edible. Damn. Now I'm hungry.

Does anyone else find chicken boring as hell? Beef owns it on so many levels.

I love chicken. But then again I love anything that's put on a plate in front of me.

I'm not sure what my opinion is. I rarely cook meat because fish and poultry is so much easier. I might have gotten used to those to such a degree that I'll prefer chicken over meat quite often.

What happened to that sandwich I was gonna make?

The Reuben is where it's at, but corned beef is only for when you can't get pastrami.

You would enjoy "Survivor Type" by Steven King. I think that would whet your appetite.

Oh no! I have stacks of books to read already! I'll check it out - love King. He was one of my favourites as a kid since I'd go to the library and just pull out the thickest books I could find so they wouldn't end too quickly
