I swear, INTJs single handedly made me think that MBTI function views were correct.

I have yet to meet an INxJ that wasn't Se-deprived in all sorts of ways.

I've mentioned this before, but it indeed takes a lot of concentration for me to focus on the here-and-now. (Further adding to the mental exhaustion that comes with small talk...)

    That's funny.
You know, at this point, I have just learned to laugh at myself when I do stuff like that.
What good did it do me to rant and rave at myself, calling myself names?!

I might as well laugh about it.
It's not doing any harm (yet).

Now I'm going to wonder how much moldy food I have eaten.

Last week I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I walked across an intersection against a green light. With all the traffic, I found it hysterical that I wasn't turned into a smear on the pavement.

My kids will not be able to tell when I become senile.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

I do that all the time. I'm glad it's not just me. Cluelessness loves company.

Edit: I put the left-over corn in the kitchen cabinet and the salt shaker in the freezer, among other things.

Yep, I've put the milk back in the cupboard and the cereal in the refrigerator before. :rolleyes2:

My mother often talks about how she wishes she was "selectively blind" like me. Like when there's messiness on the floor or stuff on the stairs to transport up the stairs, I literally step my way around it but am oblivious to the fact that there is anything in my way. Then she gets mad at me for not helping out with moving stuff upstairs, and I never even noticed I wormed my way around everything.

Here's a good one: when showering, I invariably drift off into thought and then realize I don't know where I've already washed and where I haven't. (Most frequently I can't recall whether I washed my hair or not.)
