I saw an ad for a sammich employee labled "sandwich artist wanted" so maybe it's not so much an error as artistic lisence.

Since you started this in the fluff zone I guess it's not intended as serious feedback. It's not hard for mods to change titles, but people here would whine so I assume it's the lesser of two evils to let people look stupid and leave typos and spelling and grammar errors in their thread titles.

It does mean that the threads can't be searched by keywords (if those are spelled wrong) so no one will ever read whatever they thought was important enough to make a thread about. Since many threads on the forum have less than descriptive titles or titles that have nothing to do with their contents, that probably isn't a big issue either.

Actually, I do wish the mods would change spelling errors. Maybe I should make it look all serious and post in feedback. I really figure just saying it might give the mods some ideas.

    Yep!

Seriously, though, I will change a title if the author asks me to. I have also changed them if a misspelling is just bothering me, or sometimes on a whim just for fun, but as you say people get mad about that.

I also have a (possibly irrational) aversion to the use of the word "female" as a noun, so I changed that "super hawtest female" thread to "super hawtest woman."

Yeah, females tend to have weird hangups like that.

Deliberatly making spelling mistakes, for example "lo, hi how r u 2nite?". Then fine.

But there's also many people here that do not have english as their first language. I find it offensive to berate people on making spelling mistakes whilest in my experience americans that tend to only know one language, their own, seem to make the biggest fuss about it.

    So nyer. Nyer nyer nyer.
