That makes a lot of sense, actually. Thanks man.

My INFP sister seems to have a very well developed Ni, then. Weird.
Is it that by its indefiniteness it shadows forth the heartless voids and immensities of the universe, and thus stabs us from behind with the thought of annihilation, when beholding the white depths of the milky way?

    I don't think it's weird at all.
A lot of people have well-developed Ne and Ni. Both.

Hmm. It would appear that I need to develop my Ni.

You don't even know what Ni is.
If you could be anything you want, I bet you'd be disappointed--am I right?

Accurate, imo. Ni is stubborn. Not the person, the function. i suppose Ni compelled me to write that disclaimer as if anyone would assume i meant the preferer of Ni was stubborn. Yet, it could be that my very self was the one who made the assumption that folks, more than likely, would think i'm referring to the xNxJ individual and not the function. Which would be a case of Ne in action due to the data in the immediate external environment. That being the awareness of the possibility that i my have assumed instead of writing "Not the person, the function" as if the reader might assume i'm knockin Ni doms.

i always read that Ni and Ti put the puzzle together internally and universal. Ne and Te put the puzzle together externally and immediate. Thus, NTs being somewhat similar.
everyone uses every function about evenly. take NE for example. if there are those who don't use it much, then why are there such massive amounts of people constantly flowing through Wallmart with 20 items or less?

I never wanted him to come to church with me again after that. I'm sure that was just fine with him, too.
Yeah, don't be too hard on him because in the past I was able to zone in and "get it" moreso than other people, paradoxically. But I don't think that's necessarily the "only way" to worship and I don't really think it's for me. I think now I do worship but it's all underneath the surface. I feel something even as I'm singing words but I don't quite know what it is. Same for praying.

No, you seem to have pretty good Ne but I'm not sure you really understand what Ni does yet.

No offense but...where did you get that?

Cognitive functions tests. I score equally high on both, above 40%.

I don't want to argue with you, but I don't think you know me well enough to say if I have both or one or the other.

Upon further reflection I would also like to add that I frequently tested as NFJ when I first began taking Myers-Briggs tests, but ultimately decided that I could not be a J because of my open-ended, never on time approach to life in general, and also because my Fe, while not terrible, is also not prominant.

I sincerely believe the conflict in the tests came from the strength of having both Ne and Ni. In fact, I have had "psychic" experiences my entire life with people that I am extremely close to, just "knowing" certain things were going to happen, and that is certainly Ni.
