Is North an accent? I live about as far north in the US as you can.
I dig European accents.
Moreover, I dig Europeans.
Ok, I dig European girls.
Is it that by its indefiniteness it shadows forth the heartless voids and immensities of the universe, and thus stabs us from behind with the thought of annihilation, when beholding the white depths of the milky way?
Do YOU want to be associated with The "Real" Housewives of Fill-in-the-Blank?
I don't remember the Real Housewives movie. Eh, I'm sure it could be bad or good. He didn't mean it in a bad sense. He was also talking about British people can only be certain things in American movies.
I've had a suspicion for a while now that british girls consider all American men kinda alpha when they meet them/hear them until shown otherwise. Mostly American men in britain. I dunno how accurate that is.
I've spent a lot of time in the UK and have friends of both genders from over there.
The ones I know who have dated Americans usually have more to say about the American attitude rather than the accent in terms of being attracted. They do mention the accent but it's usually in the context of it being 'a bonus'. I usually hear comparisons, that Americans seem more outgoing, expressive and animated than their British counterparts.
One of my British girl friends would knock any other girl out of the way if there was an American guy there, but another one of my British girl friends feels that American men are way too alpha/loud/macho for her taste. So I'm not sure how much an accent really makes a difference.
Still, if you find out what the term "cheeky slapper" means, then you will be in good line to hook up with one if you've got an exotic American accent and money in your pocket for pints of Stella (AKA "Wife Beater Lager").
That was a cheap joke, but I just couldn't resist it.
