Default Who here hates Nancy Grace?

I despise her. What an awful women. She sensationalizes everything, invokes the passions of the people, and clearly doesn't give a crap about the people she is claiming to protect. She sells social injustice like a brand name soda and it makes me sick. Yes, horrible things happen to people, but making it headline news usually profits the wrong doers and stigmatizes the victims. I see her show as a means of injecting fear directly into the veins of the American public. She just lacks any sensibility about how her words incite the American public to generalize and stereotype.

Who exactly is she? (besides some T.V. prosecutor type, I have heard a bit of information along the lines described in the first post.)

If you want to see her rap sheet then you only have to look as far as the wikipedia article on her. She couldn't make it as an attorney without stretching the truth or outright lying so she moved to broadcasting where her messing with people has already lead to one suicide.

Someone should represent Nancy Grace's victims' rights.

I am hoping that many people here see me as kind and understanding and sympathetic and open-minded...

... so maybe it will have some weight when I say I despise Nancy Grace.

She and Anne Coulter can just throw themselves in a depressurization chamber and turn the knob up to 11, for all I care. (I'll even shut and seal the door for them.)

(Of course, now that I took such an emphatic stance, I'm starting to feel bad about it.... )

I don't know if Wiki article talks about it, I know Nancy had some sort of traumatic experience when younger that gives fuel to her "quest for justice" ... but I think she's like a pitbull on steroids wearing a blonde wig.

My sister and I used to love watching her on Court TV. Her "I'm serious" looks are the best- she's all snarling, narrowed-eyes and curled-lip action with the ever-frozen hair helmet. The funniest part was when she would segue to the next video clip or excerpt from a trial, she would make her serious face and then look longingly into the distance at an angle. It took us awhile to realize she was actually looking over at a monitor in the studio.

I feel this way about everyone on CNN. It isn't news, it's entertainment. Bad entertainment.

    Really.
