    I didn't have any toys , I played imaginary games where I made friends or siblings act out the parts of my plays.

    Then I learnt how to read, and who needs toys then? lol

    I didn't have toys either.
    We used to kill our time by fighting, running around, throwing stones to each other, etc. Ah, peaceful years of childhood...

    Legos* were my favorite toy by far. In fact, this week I got a big bucket of them for my 1-year old nephew's birthday. It's really cool to have a little kid to share stuff like that with now. Especially since he's not MY little kid

    I mostly remember playing with transformers. That and video games of all sorts.

    Legos, etch-a-sketch, barrel full of monkeys, the sofa and blankets for playing "fort" and all the other stuff in the room for "quicksand" - objet was to get from the stairs to the safety of the living room w/o touching the floor.
