There is a reason people don't think about certain things you know.

No, it's not disturbing 'til you think about a human drinking it. *cringes*

Have you ever wondered why that is? Is it really any grosser than a human drinking a cow's milk? We domesticated both animals.

It just sounds nasty. (especially the way Wallie says it to gross me out - he's really good at voice acting.) But yeah, for humans, it's just not supposed to be.

(Grr...now you have me stopping and thinking about dog milk. It must be late. Anyway here goes....)

Well if you think about it, since both were domesticated then we can conclude that man has tried both dog milk and cow milk at some point and has decided to not continue drinking the dog milk (or cat milk or horse milk or...).

I would assume the reasons for that would be more that you can get more milk from a cow than a dog or a cat. That, and we dont tend to like to mix our pet animals with our food animals. As for horses, people needed them for work and transportation, so it's not really practical to keep a horse lactating beyond the time it would nurse its own babies.

Probably because we don't name cows or eat dogs.
