Default do you put on your socks before your pants?

getting ready for work or right out of the shower, do you tend to put on your socks right after the undies and before your pants?

i go from inside to outside usually...undies first, then pants, then shirt, socks. when im actually aware of the process, ill put on underwear and socks and pretend im a 5 year old superman

Undies -> socks -> pants = no problem. And why is this in the NT Rationale? Do NT's rationalize the order they put their clothes on more than other types?

I put on my undies first. Shorts next. Then a t shirt. I put socks on if it's cold or I'm going out.

Socks are usually last, unless I wore them to bed and don't feel like changing them.

Good question. Moved until such a time when a theory can presented showing NTs are unique in the area of sock/pant etiquette.

I usually consider the "putting socks" on and "putting pants on" to be two separate rituals usually performed independently.

I wear pants whenever the situation does not necessitate otherwise. This idea contrasts with the sock ritual, which is usually performed promptly before the shoe ritual and the leaving-the-house ritual.

In instances where the pants ritual and sock rituals are performed roughly in the same time, (such as leaving the house if it immediately follows the post-shower redressing) I will put on socks first. This allows for decreased possibility of the "socks on top of pants" situation and the "fussing with pants to get socks on" situation.

Socks last! I'd put on shoes first if I could. I despise socks! /hiss
