Default OMG, keep it at home!

    :steam:

One of the guys I work with has been having an angry conversation with his SO for the entire first half of the day. He's being mean and is having some very heated, personal babble right here in the office we share.

OMG, keep it at home! I don't want to listen to your bullshit!

It's not like this is a one-time deal, either. He does this all the time. It's just been particularly heated and long, drawn-out today.

I don't want to fucking hear it!

Oh, wow. Yeah, I'd get NO work done with that going on. Unprofessional, for sure. :oS

Get your phone and pretend have phonesex next to his cubicle. See if he finds that unprofessional.

    Why does it bother you?

Some people are always complaining. They're funny and make me feel good. I just let them ramble, nod a bit, throw in some sarcasm here and there to which they're absolutely oblivious but others aren'toblivious to it.

    It's a lot of fun!

Need more complainy people in my life, they're like the best toys.

Call several people, like you have no restraint. LOTS of heavy breathing and dirty talk, only make the dirty talk like leering your way through the ingredients list on the back of a cereal box. It can't make sense. It just had to sound really dirty and wrong.

Wyst you poetic justice-oriented male you!!

Here's what I'd do: Go to his cubicle, sit right next to him, recording with a tape recorder, and pretend to be genuinely interested while invading his personal space. Discomfort and a solution. ^_^b
Kantgirl: Just say "I'm feminine and I'll punch anyone who says otherwise!"
Halla74: Think your way through the world. Feel your way through life.

Cimarron: maybe Prpl will be your girl-bud
    prplchknz: i don't like it

Not when you need to concentrate, your job could be on the line. For example, you could be typing up an important speech for your company at the last minute and suddenly those two whingers start babbling at each other once again and all of a sudden, you've just typed up some of their personal debate right into the speech you're about to read out in front of an audience. There's a time and a place for such things... I hate complaining, it's useless and repeditive... ooo! let's complain about exams! ... we did that yesterday... okay then, how about the use of fossil fuels? PfFfFfT!
