Thanks Your recital of Thomas's poem was great!

Estonian is one of the Finno-Ugric languages in the Uralic language family.

*Maybe I'll get round to posting something in my own language (Welsh) for comparison, though I'm afraid that English is very much my first language and I've become even more stuck with it after living there for so long!*
Oh, please do! Welsh sounds great Anyhow, how are we to know how perfectly you speak it

It couldn't hurt to turn up your volume just a bit.

Seda lauset on paljugi kuulda saanud, kas siis õnnistusena või häiriva tegurina.
Sul on hea hääldus, mul endal kipub tihtipeale mingi aksent välja lööma.
Oleneb muidugi olukorrast, see tekib eelkõige pingelises olukorras kui ma närvis olen.

    Well done.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!

You have a good point there Pretty poorly to say the least, but hey, not like there's much competition on here at present! Here's a short and sweet example then:

One word, eh? Pretty cool language. I've heard the "Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau" (if that's even the correct way to write it)

Recorded my voice. The microphone distorts my voice a little bit.

    This is what I said:

Hello people... Talking in myself is extremely annoying, it's much easier to talk with someone. Here's some dutch for ya.
En straks maar knus naar jullie warme nestjes. En denk erom. Oogjes dicht en snaveltjes toe. Slaap lekker!
