    calling someone facetious is a statement of fact, so it's not insulting or flattering.
    if you take everything literally, like really literally, you will become more serious.

    Thanks for explaining facetious. I don't really want to be serious. That's why I put it in the fluff zone. I've been called facetious quite a few times, I always wondered.

    I guess I was being facetious, such is my nature.

    yeah, i figured you didn't really want to be serious, but thought maybe there was an outside chance you did. i take things pretty literally. it is the bane of my existence.
