I currently have over 2500 unread emails from 'friends' which no doubt would be spam, hoaxes and lame jokes, I don't read them, I donít forward them, I don't like them, my friends know this, FFS STOP SENDING THEM TO ME DAMMIT!!!!1!!

Every now and again I'll read one and if it's especially annoying or being believed by mindless idiots who refuse to questions the validity of something they read on the internet and therefore actually think for themselves I'll be sure to let them know it's a hoax and point out how painfully obvious it is that the [insert unbelievable claim here] is illogical and how easy it is to verify said claim with a 5 second google search. I do this as a form of negative encouragement for them to stop including me in their mass forwardings.

Yes, I have a young in-law who I sent something about her Forward being a hoax and she emails me back, tears me apart, says she's never going to talk to me again, made a snide jab about her father still being alive (mine had just died) and then quit talking to me...except that she still forwards all the chain letters to our email address!

I never forward them. I just click on delete and move right along.

You said it. Then again the big FW: does give it away.
