    I wear a $1,500 gold and diamond bracelet, it's over 36 grams of white gold. I did jewelry as a living for a couple years and I have held onto this for sentimental reasons only as it is symbolic of closure to a chapter in my life. I also wear a nice watch but I love watches, otherwise I don't care about this sort of thing and my wedding ring when I was married only cost $12 on eBay.

    As a side note, this ring was part of that time in my life. I just happened to have the diamond floating around from a huge lot of diamonds I'd gotten in. The diamond isn't super nice and I had my goldsmith set it an old ring he was going to scrap.

    It's nothing to write home about but this isn't meant to be fun anyway. I was mostly seeing what kinda work quality wise this new goldsmith did, it was fair but excellent for the price.

    Just to be clear (not directing this at you, just the thread in general ), you don't have to have low-gold concentrations to get different colors (ie: 999 in China and India have slightly different colors).

    You can end up with stuff like;

    It's tri-color, but hard to make out the gold vs copper color in the picture. Might as well throw out another post I did jewelry I liked.

    I'd say this is pointless, but the fact he put a 48 HOUR GAP restriction to how long this thread can go on for.....

    Well, I dunno. I was about to say this ring will be shipped off in less than a month, but I'm not so certain...... I think we should GAMBLE on WHEN this ring will be won!!! whos in, nocaps?

    As ignihnokt once said, "this could go on for a very, long time..."

    A mod should get the ring by posting

    "thread locked for excessively pointless fluff"

    followed by locking this thread.

    Ok so where's the ring? I have a special lady in mind to present it to.
