    Not sure if you have heard this or not. Eitherway:

    thank you! i got into goldfrapp a long time ago, but don't think i'd ever heard this song. it's been a while since i listened to them at all. good pull.

    here's a little something for you. i'm sure you've heard of them, not sure how you feel about em. but i like this song in particular.

    You hem me in -- behind and before;
    you have laid your hand upon me.
    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.

    In the beginning, there was a great storm. Great blizzards swept over the face of the land, and the ponies had no choice but to flee their native lands. They migrated for miles out of the storm, but wherever they went, the storms followed. For the storms were caused by the Windigoes, spirits of the ice that flew thru the air and froze all in their path.
    As the ponies spread across the frigid landscape, their bloodlines changed, until the sons of pony became three tribes. There were the Earth Ponies, who walked on land, and the land was of their being, and they alone knew the ways of cultivating the farms; and another tribe grew wings, and became the Pegasi; and the Pegasi walked among the clouds, and controlled all parts of the weather; and a third tribe became the Unicorns, and they grew each a single horn from their foreheads; and they wielded the powers of magic, and they and they alone raised and lowered the Sun that is in the heavens, and the Moon that is in the heavens, and the Stars that are in the heavens.
    And the three tribes came unto a new land.
    The Earth Ponies took shelter on the plains; and they named this city Earth; and here they farmed the Earth for fruit.
    And the Unicorns abode in the mountains, and named theirs Unicornia; and from here they controlled all that is in the heavens.
    And the Pegasi assembled for themselves a great and mighty city atop the clouds; and this they christened Pegasopolis; and from here did they herd the clouds as animals, and manipulate the weather.
    And the three tribes came to a dispute as to whom the land belonged. And a great and bloody war raged between the tribes.
    And the Windigoes saw the conflict below: and the took the conflict to strengthen their might, and with their might they caused all cities to become frozen as ice.
    And the leaders of the tribes were Chancellor Puddinghead of Earth; and Commander Hurricane of Pegasopolis; and Queen Platinum of Unicornia.
    And they came unto a cave to seek shelter,
    And they brought their servants with them as well,
    And they drew lines in the dirt of the cave, and disputed among themselves as to whose parts of the cave belonged to whom.
    And when the Windigoes saw this, they feasted upon their conflict: and by this might they brought the storm into the cave, and froze Chancellor Puddinghead and Queen Platinum and Commander Hurricane as ice.
    And the servants were Clover the Clever, student of the sorcerer Starswirl the Bearded; and she was servant to Platinum;
    And Smart Cookie, servant to Puddinghead,
    And Private Pansy, soldier in the army of Hurricane. And Clover spoke to them, and the befriended each other. And the magical power generated by their friendship broke the curse of the Windigoes, and they were banished into death.
    Then the storm ceased, and the three tribes were made as one, and lived on the fertile land, and named it Equestria.

    @five sounds, I'm actually a big fan of that song. Thanks! I'm the starman in this situation right? Or am I David Bowie preaching about him? Either way I'm honored. Always hoped that my enthusiasm about life might spread to others. The world is really a great place to be when everyone is happy and we can all dance together in appreciation of it.

    @Ginkgo, I really dig this one. Sick beats. The whole mood of the song really captures my vibe imo. I love how both songs for me are kind of about children and dancing. I have such a Peter Pan complex.

    @Nicodemus, this doesn't have any lyrics but this is a song that pops up in my head frequently when I think of you.
