    This is an introverts' paradise.

I reach out my trembling hand and I meet another trembling hand reaching out to me.

Sometimes we find it hard to get along.

Sometimes we get a slap and sometimes a tickle. And sometimes we just shake hands. And sometimes, just sometimes, we hold hands together.

But always we are entertained, amused and sometimes appalled by the extroverts.

But being outnumbered here, the extroverts are the underdogs.

So sometimes we are tempted by revenge, and sometimes we are tempted to simply look after them.

Sometimes we feel angry with them and sometimes we pity them.

But they don't even have the commonsense to envy us, as we envy them in the real world.

And so they remain simply satellites orbiting our introverted world.

But remember this shall remain an introvert paradise as long as we do not eat of the tree of extroversion.

There's a certain hunger I'd like to live without from time to time.

I have two guides to life.

One is the Doonesbury cartoon and the other is, "The Wind in the Willows".

Mole in, "The Wind in the Willows", is plainly introverted and lives underground - while the Water Rat is extroverted and lives in a bijou residence beside the river.

Mole and the Water Rat are great friends. And Mole admires the outgoing ways of the Water Rat.

I identify with Mole but I aspire to be like Ratty.
