It helps to win poker games [and various other inferior competitions], which are more awesome than... pretty much anything else.

Even the losing NTP guys still do it so stylishly that they're adored by the sideliners -- a crowd who knows their own skill is too weak to bear the strain, resulting in the vicarious admiration of those souls with the wit to take down an opponent and the nerve to brave that wit of their opponent.

What it all comes down to is wit and nerve. These two crucial components are the requisite traits for the 'cool' recipe.

We are the complete intellectual package, and we do it, contrary to popular literature, very stylishly, and sometimes completely covertly.

Sorry, while you guys were arguing, Stallone shot you full of bullets, and Norris roundhouse kicked you into oblivion for good measure.

    That's movie fantasy stuff Jeff.

Besides, the brutishness of the S_P male is...
Well it's mostly unwarranted, inappropriate, and misdirected.

Rambo and James Bond are pretty cool, but that's only because they used Thinking so strongly (something that comes natural to NTPs) so as to enhance their wit and nerve.

    Cool, but not coolest.

I'm confused. I don't think it's cool to smoke, so I'm not cool, but smoking doesn't make you cool. Only being cool with smoking is cool? What? Someone get me a flow chart!

no, being anal about smoking is NOT cool. You don't have to be cool with it to be cool, just not anal! Or something....

Our horses are swift, our arrows sharp, our swords like thunderbolts, our hearts as hard as the mountains, our soldiers as numerous as the sand. Fortresses will not detain us, nor arms stop us. Both of these are NTJ.
And I even do parkour. Not that it's actually cool -- it's just the best way to escape from the cops.

    Case fails.
