Talking females...and I'm also generalizing, so no doubt there are plenty of blondes that do not 'suffer' from this

Think I got this from some documentary btw, don't remember now.

True, but I don't see how the trends would differ from male to female with hair colors (if they are, in fact, actual trends). The thread is about both genders, too.

On the other hand, the women who I find instantly attractive are always brunettes, (it's not sexual). I can see that many blondes are attractive but they don't catch my attention as immediately. It's puzzling.
I never meet the blond guys with a preference for brunettes, boohoo

I am the same way I judge a woman's beauty, except I find redheads striking too. I know blond women are technically rare in nature, but they just seem so cookie-cutter Barbie doll in the media. Same with the "tall dark handsome" man cliche....just not as interesting to me.
Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)

Though blondes can be attractive, I prefer women with dark hair and eyes. The darker the better.

Something about blondes makes them seem without mystery.

I'm surprised, I assumed it was one of those opposites attract things. My previous b/fs have all had a brunette fixation it seems and were all blond. My current b/f has dark hair but he prefers brunettes as well.
