same here. I don't usually pay as much attention to TV music as I do to film music, but Licht really captures the essence of the character and all of the turmoil and conflict in his life so well.
I'm also a big fan of Dave Porter's music for Breaking Bad. It can be quite ominous and really helps in creating the feeling of anxiety that comes with watching that show.
The first time I paid attention to the music in a show was when watching Game of Thrones. It's much more in the background than in Dexter, so you have to listen closely. But the most awesome thing is the intro music, I never expected Ramin Djawadi to do such a good job.
I've started noticing TV music more because shows are starting to use better music. More top notch composers are contributing great music. I think in many cases, the scores are better than what's being written for film nowadays.
