Default Not that you could call a hole in your heart fluff...

...but why not. I just spent the last 51 hours in the ER/cardiac floor of my local hospital. My diagnosis is "near syncope" (since I didn't pass out) likely caused by a hole in the heart. Come Monday I'm scheduling appointments to get checked out more specifically and have some procedures done. I'm still having mild symptoms of what I had in the hospital (chills, tingling, dizziness, 'hot flashes'; luckily no ear popping, rapid heart rate, and shiverring afterwards since I left). For those of you who believe in God, please pray for me. For those of you who don't, please give your support. Apparently this happens in 1 of ever 5 people, but that isn't very comforting. I've never been this scared in my life.

Oh no! How scary! *hugs and pats you* Going to the hospital can be a very frightening prospect. *more hugs* I'll say a prayer for you and put your name in at Mass to be prayed for, okay? Hang in there.

Heart problems can be really scary. I'm so sorry. I have issues with tachycardia, and it was terrifying. Keep us updated on your progress.

Pssssst...I secretly LOVE hugs! (...depending on the situation, of course.) But don't tell the Ts that! Hah. Thank you, I appreciate your prayer and the prayer submission.

It is very scary when there is nothing they can do about it at the time. How have you dealt with your tachycardia and what is it like now? I will keep you all updated. Thanks for the hug!...I mean...

You'll be in my prayers this very night. God bless.

I'm trying to take it easy. Hopefully I'll have some answer soon, and I'll let you know as I get them.

Today I had one of my full-blow episodes, but the symptoms were less severe and it was shorter. Yesterday I did not have any at all! I was a bit discouraged and upset, but that passed in a few hours.
