Apparently this happens in 1 of ever 5 people, but that isn't very comforting. I've never been this scared in my life.
This is basically true, if it helps at all. You didn't actually lose consciousness, right? That's a good sign.

Best of luck, you're in my thoughts, Headstrong.

I'll keep you in my prayers.

    Glad you're okay, though.

Heh...I am restraining the rant. I'll praise them for their new found sense of urgency, even though it did take quite a bit of prodding.

The best of men require a prod or two. Good to hear that you're feeling better.

I didn't realize how long it had been since I posted on the forums in general until PinkPiranha wrote me a message asking how my recovery was going. So, I guess I'll give you all an update on what has been happening.

As you know, three days after I was released from the hospital with a diagnosis of near syncope caused by a hole in my heart, I had a revelation that my physical and spiritual heart was being healed. After this revelation and before I had a TEE test done to check out my heart closer, I had a vision in which God handed me a newborn baby all wrapped up and told me he was giving me new life. I had no idea what that meant.

So, a few weeks later I had the TEE test to check out my heart. They said I had a pinhead-sized hole in my heart but that was not causing the problems. They performed a shunt study a few days later to measure the oxygen level in my blood, and that came back normal, meaning that my heart is perfectly functioning.

What they did find in my TEE test was what is called an AVM in my lungs (Google it if you wish, I purposely did not want to know.) On my way home from the procedure, I had a revelation that when God said he was giving me new life, he was giving me new lungs like that of a baby’s!

So, I had a CT scan done earlier this month and it came back normal! No evidence of an AVM!

Continued prayers would be appreciated. I have been having a great deal of trouble with lightheadedness since then and problems with my ears. I have been fearing a lot and not been putting my trust in God. I have also come down with a very nasty sore throat!

Though, last night something happened to me while I was awake/in a vision/dreaming and I do believe that I am in the process of being healed as we speak. (If you want to read about it, go to PinkPiranha's page and read my post.)

I am being baptized again next Sunday (my first time was at age 9), and I'm praying that if I am not healed before then, that that day will be the day I am completely restored. My parents are coming to see me and it will be the first time they have both attended church (/together) in over 10 years!

    Blessings to you all. =]

Hey, just wanted to give y'all an update. Today I went to a specialist and I was finally diagnosed with Lyme Disease! I don't recall if I mentioned it or not, but after my CT scan I asked God, "Where do I go from here?" and that day my employer suggested Lyme Disease. That was back in later May.

My time since then has been devoted to God, research, testing, and finding doctors who know the disease extensively. I finally have the confirmation I have been looking for.

I start oral meds and a new diet tomorrow for treatment. I will be healed of this disease because of Psalm 103:3 that the Lord gave me back in Novemberish/Decemberish of 2008. I cannot wait to tell you guys about it! But for now, thank you to all who have supported and encouraged me though this time of sickness. I appreciate it so much. All praise to God! I am so exited to see what He has in store for me in the future.

    I don't normally do this...but...

    Shhhh...it'll be our little secret.
