Default Long Hair V.S. Short Hair

On men - Do you prefer long hair or short hair on women?

On women - Men with long hair or cropped short?

Discuss I always am under the impression people are very opinionated on what generally flies for good looking on both sexes.

Example: I either get compliments on my hair, or people telling me constantly to keep it short for the love of pete.
Kantgirl: Just say "I'm feminine and I'll punch anyone who says otherwise!"

Cimarron: maybe Prpl will be your girl-bud
    prplchknz: i don't like it

See, I have drastic changes in my hair. I crop it quite short, and then let it grow to about my knees or so before cutting it short again, as I donate my hair every 5 years. I love the convenience and ease of short hair, but I cannot deny that longer hair just has versatility with style and has a very feminine appeal imo.

It always seems like men don't appreciate long hair the way they used to anymore though.

I have no preference for women, because I think they can pull off almost any length, but on men? I like really short hair or really long hair... like borderline bald, 1/2" cuts, things like this. Anything longer I think shouldn't go past the ears in length.. EXCEPT. Some men can certainly pull off long braids.

The problem with that is: 1. Usually the men that have long enough hair for that aren't the men that easily pull it off. 2. Usually they're too lazy to make their hair look well groomed and styled.

Probably true. And I do think it looks more "feminine," but I can't honestly say I have a default preference for a certain length. A girl's hair is usually something I'm drawn to, whatever the length. But not too short!

I prefer long or medium-length hair on women--though occasionally, someone can rock short hair in a spectacular way. My cousin used to have really long hair and it didn't really do anything for her. She got it chopped off and got some funky glasses, and now she looks really unique and cool. I think the length helps most faces, though.

As far as guys go, I prefer short hair. As someone else said, most guys with long hair either don't take good care of it, or can't really pull it off, and it ends up looking kind of scraggly and gross. I don't mind bald, as long as it's actually bald and not just sorta receding.

I love changing my hair style. I think next I'm going to go with a chopped up bob. I'm pretty happy with the long hair for now. I've been all the way from extremely short to what I am now. I actually want to make a gif with all my hair styles over the years.

I voted anything but I do like mostly short-ish. It isn't going to be negative points for a guy with long hair. I think it's harder for a guy to look good in long hair rather than short.

On women, I don't really mind as long as it suits them. But on men I strongly prefer short hair.

On men - Long hair. Short hair is boring.
On women - No preference really.

Different people look better with different hair length.

Falcarius thinks between chin and shoulder length looks best on women. That said, the first girl Falcaius liked had hair as short, if not shorter, than he currently has now; coming to think of it, her hair is a whole lot longer now and she looks a whole lot hotter.

Falcarius does not really care about what men do with their hair as he is not gay. He prefers his own hair feathers to be somewhere around chin length as he thinks it looks better. Not only that, less time is spent paying to listen to some punk try to engage in small talk while he cuts Falcarius' hair feathers, and quite frankly Falcarius is a narcissistic and likes to play with his hair feathers.
