Thunderstorms are fun, but the best weather for me's cool fall weather. Maybe a little cloudy, but crisp, cool, very comfortable to be outside in jeans and a sweatshirt and do almost anything. Maybe some red/orange/yellow falling leaves - and mostly the promise that hot and humid summer is over, but winter's still months away.

    Clear skied winter days.

Or rain. Don't ask me why.

Well, a few weeks ago we had lightning, and of course thunder, in the middle of a snow storm. Give me that.

Agree, I adore thunderstorms too (when I'm sheltered) but I love all kinds of weather and seasons, I'd get sick of having the same weather all the time.

I love waking up early to spend winter days interstate carving up the snow

And the evenings snuggled up by a roaring fire, especially if itís with someone special

Lazy spring afternoons dozing in a grassy field with a good book

Or the evenings on camping trips with an impromptu jam session around the camp fire

Spending long summer days at the beach playing in the surf

Than relaxing in the sand to watch the sun go down

But the best season of all is when the air starts to cool down and the leaves start turning brilliant shades of orange and yellow than falling off making everything looks so magical that it can't be real

Nothing beats the colours of autumn

    Spring time sunshine
It's sunny, but lukewarm rather than boiling hot. The temperature where you don't need a coat but you're not sweating either. Bliss...

British cool, rainy, mizzly weather is fantastic. It feels so calm and thoughtful and quiet. I love being out in the desert, too - sunny and quiet and warm.

I also love summertime in the South - hot and humid, when the sun is starting to set. Everything is calm and relaxed, with the windows open to let the breeze in, with the sound of children outside playing, and the air smells like gardenias.

Haha! Well, maybe if it was a rare occurrence. Sadly it seems to be the default weather where I live. The sun's come out this week for the first time since September and it's freezing cold still, but people are stripping off their layers already. Oh the optimism.

Yeah, I like the desert too. Just flat, barren, hot, arid desert.

Perhaps it is the ability for me to get away from it. Pink and I went to school in Northern Ireland - it was sunny and temperate and beautiful for the first week we were there, and then the wintery, constant rain began. lol We had that the rest of the semester. We got used to running from the bus station to the school, pulling our shoes off and sticking our feet on the heated pipes in the locker bays before class.

The desert is fantastic. I have relatives who live out in the desert, in the middle of nowhere, and it was wonderful to be out in the dry heat for awhile. I took a Jeep and went driving, and it was unbelievable how I could see for miles and miles. I could see a storm approaching for half an hour.
