(hm, bum moment.) It never occurred to me that people didn't address themselves with a pronoun inside their heads for some odd reason.
Ever since I was a kid I had to go and categorize everything in my head, even my thoughts so I gave a "persona" to each. There wasn't anger, there was "general" and so on.
I used to have two characters in my mind - one that was strong and detached and the other who was more the dreamer. I would often debate between the two. Now I don't think of them as two persona's, but I still debate multiple positions inside my head and this often results my my talking outloud to myself too much. I don't recall much use of pronouns.
