Today I really have a taste for some grilled salmon.
I may or may not have posted this here, but I have a very simple and very delicious salmon marinade recipe. It's so delicious, in fact, that EVERY OTHER TIME I have ever cooked salmon, I've wished I used the marinade instead of whatever else I did with it.
So you start with a bowl of tamari, enough to cover the amount of fish you have. Add to that some lime juice (about 1/4 the amount of tamari you used), sesame seeds, toasted sesame oil (1-2 tbsp), some grated ginger, and a clove or two of garlic, chopped finely. Some chopped shallots are optional, I am not a huge fan so I don't use them. Soak your fish in that for an hour, then broil or grill. Y, U, M.
