Sheer genius, but my English isn't good enough to tell you all.
For starters: tuna-sushi, gamba-canneloni and a mousse of cauliflower (?) with smokes salmon and pickles-icecream which was strange, yet brilliant.
Then: a dish I really can't explain in English, sorry, but it had loads of tartuffo in it.
on: Cod with a perfect tomato risotto
and: lamb with ginger-potatoe mousseline, and a foam of pees and chorizo
desert: very sophisticated (again, I hate to be this bad at English)

Really, I can't imagine what a 3-star restaurant can be like, and I don't even want to try it because I fear it will make all this look plain...

Don't worry about your English, you were very clear. Pickle ice cream? Wow.

I must say that our short trip to Germany compensated well for the delightful meal mentioned above.
Some of the cliché's appear to be true, but in all honesty I should also mention that they make excellent bread...

All I know about German food is that they like to make sausage, roast chicken, and brew lots and lots of beer.

    And that's okay with me

I started setting up my room today and moving my stuff in. I needed a good meal and caffeine to prepare. I had a craving for a Vietnamese dish -- Shaking Beef or Com Bo Luc Lac but instead I had Malaysian. I still needed my marinated south east asian-ish beef cuts!

Sarang Burung (the restaurants pic aren't loading so here's one from Flickr, I think mine looked daintier and tastier though)

Beef Rendang (from a foodie website)

    and thai iced coffee.

    Good stuffeses.

The diet delivery meal plan I'm using isn't bad, but dang, sometimes you just want more flavor. Especially me.
