I do things like that often, good thing you were restrained about it, it would be much more embarrassing if you had done it my way.

I still bet that Sahara could have won y'all a new set of lawn chairs, if she had gone over there.

To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft

They bought that house to retire in, I think and we plan on being in ours until we die or they put us in a home, so I don't want to make enemies of them. They will have a long time to make us miserable if we do.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Hah, I love this thread. I was prepared to write a reply stating that Occam's Razor would suggest that the neighbors stole your chairs despite their religious convictions. Then I saw the unlikely resolution. Score: Serendipity 1, Occam 0
