"You're a strange animal" - Gowan

Yes, I'm trapped in the 80's.

But it does fit me I feel, being a bit out of place, bizzare, more likely to be feared due to lack of understanding, only the adventurous daring to try to understand me.

Of course, I refuse to admit the video exists because it ruined the point of the song sadly. I see myself more like the girl in farenheit 451, this song just fits very well to that concept is all.

I have a history with this song. The first time i heard it was in 2007, but I got addicted to it in december '08. I remember that I was singing this song in January this year for half an hour long, while I was waiting for a car and standing in a pile of shit, as I discovered when I arrived home. That night in January was seriously the most romantic evening of my life and that's exactly why I'm choosing this song as my theme song. (And also because of the text, but who cares.)

YouTube - The Killers - Read My Mind
I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower. The TV was obviously on. I used to fly myself and I said, "There's one terrible pilot."
- George W. Bush -

SCUAI - 7w8 sx/sp - Chaotic Evil - Fucking Cute - ALIVE

Blog. Read it, bitches.

If you don't agree about my MBTI type, you can complain about it here. I've had plenty of people telling me I'm something else, in my reputation box. That's annoying.

Portishead, "Magic Doors" from Third

I can't deny what I've become
I'm just emotionally undone
I can't deny, I can't be someone else

when I have tried to find the words
To describe this sense absurd
Try to resist my thoughts
But I can't lie

I've been losing myself
My desire I can't have
No reason am I for

I can't divide or hide from me
I don't know who I'm meant to be
I guess it's just the person that I am

Often I've dreamt that I don't wait
Enjoy the gift of my mistake
and yet again I'm wrong and I confess

I've been losing myself
My desire I can't have
No reason am I for
I almost chose "The Rip," but this song speaks to me more. It is very strong; the lyrics speak volumes with very few words. "I can't deny, I can't be someone else" reminds me of Wayne Coyne's lyrics from "Mr. Ambulance Driver": "Oh, we can't change places / our lives our stangely our own." The inner struggle torments the most; there is no escape from the inner world like there is from the outer world...
"How can I be, all I want to be,
When all I want to do is strip away these stilled constraints
And crush this charade, shred this sad, masquerade"

Well, the only song people ever say reminds them of me is Starry, Starry Night. But that is probably only because I am a painter and my name is Star...I do love that song though...but to choose a song myself, it would have to be Dylan's "Blowing in the Wind" as I find myself asking the questions posed in that song quite often.
