You were just jealous -- it was a wonderful idea. (Admit it, Goldringer.)

... i should have known better than to invite an ENTP here, if I didn't want all my dirty laundry to slip out...

Of course I'll admit it...It was I who came up with the concept, when you asked me to quote you the opening paragraph of "The Hobbit" at the very end of our weeks-long Tolkien trivia contest!

Gosh...I wasn't really that much of a geek, was I? Yes, I suppose I was.

And don't worry about your dirty laundry. It's safe with me. Even the story about... WHOA! that was a CLOSE one!

I'll clam up now. Honest. I promise.

For a minute or two at least...

I'm leaving in a few minutes for Virginia. Someone please make sure he's gone when I get back on Sunday.

You have to make it a free audiobook so I can listen to it! I just finished a book about a dwarf that was teleported (in a freak magical accident, of course) from an ancient, mystical world to 1920s Chicago. He became (what else??) a private eye. The story had him looking for an dangerous ancient talisman that got transported at the same time he did. I loved that story. It combined my two favorite genres.

So let me know when it's ready to download, okay? It will be great voice practice!
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

What if I'm nice? Will that make any difference?
