    Default Condiments anyone?

I just got done making this BAD ASS hot dog. Garlic-toasted bread, horseradish mustard, ketchup, mayo, dill relish, banana peppers, hot sauce, chili, shredded velveeta, sauerkraut.. not to even mention the broiled dog itself.

So it naturally made me curious. I'm a TOTAL condiment person, I like all sorts and I eat them on almost anything I can. Yay or nay for ya'll?

I only use condiments when they'll offer enhancement to the food- otherwise I enjoy the flavor of the food alone. (steak sauce is a heresy!)

If abusing condiments, my condiment of choice is barbecue sauce

I only use certain condiments in rare circumstances - certainly not on things like burgers, etc. One thing I will never eat is ketchup. For some reason I find it absolutely disgusting - to the point I almost get physically ill when I see people eating it. Other tomato-type foods, I like. Ketchup... .

Ketchup should always be avoided.... it's by far the ickiest common condiment!

Yes. If you over-abuse condiments, then you didn't like the food enough to begin with.

If the steak is good, I completely agree. A-1 masks flavor, which is beneficial if the cook is less than on-par with how steaks should be. Burnt, chewy steak is more edible with A-1.. otherwise, if it's done right I like the flavor juust fine.

To below this one though, I think it's CRAZY that people don't put condiments on burgers!! I think the number 3 things I ALWAYS put a shitload of stuff on is hot dogs, burgers, and nachos.
