Pretty much every one of your avatars that I've seen (except for Lithgow which was AWESOME while it lasted) has been fit, attractive, and intense, and had short, tousled hair, and wore an expression that I couldn't read for the life of me. Maybe you're simply attracted to those sorts of people? Or you relate to them? Maybe the mystery of all those pictures of model-looking people is saying "You might judge me just by looking at me, but there's a lot more to who I am than that."

Lithgow one was awesome! Made me smile everytime I saw it.
And both. The expression is important though, the hard to read bit is part of it.
Anyhoo this avi is actually an image of the Captain of my beloved Saints who just kicked ass in their first finals game sending them through to the prelims.
When I posted in this thread I had a different avi

The approach you take is too tell how you truly feel/think and then uneasily wait/hope they accept you.... This description feels too generic, let me think on it some more.
Eery, I didn't pick this avi specifically, just looked for an image of my captain out of uniform but your analysis would be apt nevertheless!
You are most likely wicca. You want your appearance show your enthusiasm for life, maybe because you are afraid it wouldn't otherwise be obvious. You despise "normal" and make your life a statement against anything normal. This sometimes leads to trouble, but as long as you feel you are living your life you accept it as a part of your path.
I find it interesting that you are standing back against a wall in the picture. It makes me think you are afraid of things creeping up on you...
