My current avatar doesn't really depict the essence of me, I'm not nearly as aloof as I appear in the picture.

The dress, the bracelet, and the bag, that was all intentional.

Oh, this is quite correct...I spend a lot of time inside my head...sometimes my imagination...and the possibilities i have imagined are more interesting than real life...thus i find day to day life boring(not always!)...as if its a 2 dimensional image rather than a 3 dimensional one.

an example of this might be when i see a movie based on a book i have read...i regularly feel disappointed because the world/people i imagined while reading the book were much vivid and complex than the ones portrayed in the movie.

    thanks!

    Was that Avatar that bad?

Haha...i liked it cos of some features..like the tilted head.
I usually tilt my head slightly down, or slightly up, rarely do i keep my head level. Also liked the half closed eyes...because all of my friends tell me that i have sleepy(half closed) eyes. Lol this is worse when some group picture is taken...cos then i will be smiling..and that would result in my eyes looking as if they are closed.

i didn't really notice the lower lip when i chose this pic(was more interested in the eyes, the slight frown of the eyebrows, and the head's angle) but now that you mention it...it does look kinda creepy.lol

Another thing i relate to , with this picture is the closed lip. I don't laugh/smile on cameras often, even though inside of me i feel joy; when i am with friends. No less than whats felt by others(i hope!) but somehow my face refuses to laugh/smile when a picture is taken.

I do smile/laugh when im with friends..but my face closes up when a photo is about to be taken/when asked to pose for a photo. That is mainly because my mind tells me that i am "posing" to a picture and thus the smile will be a "fake"...it makes me feel like an impostor. This is the reason why i dont smile when being photographed.lol

Lately though ive learnt to force my mouth to smile...and Ive been told that it looks good on the pics...but apparently its not a genuine one..as i know i just faked it

I guess INTJ's having a hard time expressing their emotions, even though having the emotions inside, is probably true in my case.

Actually i thought the reverse. From your posture, i speculated that you were laid back and easy going. An Aloof person might have a more stiff posture.~at least according to me.lol

Interesting, I'm certainly laid back and easy going.

You are curious concerning the inner workings of the forehead. You tend to delve into how the layers of tissues function and work together as a whole system. You do all of this from a distance to hide your true thoughts.

You're trying to get your avatar to represent you; and as with all of your other ones like that (not a joke one) it seems to convey a message of "odd yet wise" which is true of you.
