Basically, I would guess that you are strong yet humble, or at least that this quality is something you aspire to and/or want to be seen as.
Strength tempered by humility is something I definitely aspire to.

    Good analysis.

On second reflection, I suppose I can see the cheer. Wait, no, it's gone again.

You SURE you were in a better mood when you took that picture? I'm reading a mood something along the lines of "alright, let's make a decent smile for Facebook."
    Wow.

Well, you're right, but I didn't think anyone would notice that.

I specifically took some pictures to use as an avatar, and I thought this one looked the most cheerful.

It looks nervous to me as well, especially when you look at it up close. And it's because it actually was kind of a forced smile.

Did anyone else notice the nervousness and/or forced quality of the smile?

And they said I had Asperger's... hah.
If a deaf INFP falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

    Yeah, that's true.

I mean, even when I'm emphasizing the positive, I'm not trying to hide the darker stuff underneath.

I want people to see that.

I want them to see both sides.

For example, I wear a lot of black because it reflects that internal darkness.

If I were trying to fool people with the picture, and make them think I'm ALL about positive vibes--I probably wouldn't be wearing all black.

Basically, I'm always trying to convey a balance between "I'm friendly" and "Don't FUCK with me".

The way I talk, dress, and act is a kind of mix of the two.

It's not fake but it is self-conscious.

I want people to know that I'm a very warm and caring person, and at the same time I want them to know that I'm not a wimp or a pushover.

Maybe other ENFP males can identify with this.

Or maybe it has more to do with being a 7w8.

    Prpl,

I think your avatars are also like Bubbles', and Tick Tocks'.

There seems to be this desire on the part of many INFPs to use playful/light/silly/humorous avatars which corresponds with some kind of ideal of simplicity, naivete and innocence.

I have a bias and thus cannot maintain an objective viewpoint to properly psychoanalyze your avatar. It just rules far too much.

My bias is just that the avatar's awesome and made me laugh. I can't analyze something when I'm busy enjoying it.
    My attempt at humor.
