Do you sew? If you do (or can get someone who sews) make a huge queen bee costume and make the bees think you're the queen, then you can control them and start building your army of bees to send after other people.
I know a girl, she's one of a kind
But the poor little thing, she's going out of her mind
There's something you forgot - there's a reason why she's lost
Cos baby she don't want to be found
Bah, if it was a swarm you should've called a bee-keeper. Bee-keepers come catch them for free so they can start new hives.
Good idea but I was less concerned about them just being in the area than I was with them nesting, don't know that a bee keeper would actually help me with the second one. Also can't say I know of many bee keepers in the middle of Adelaide *shrug*
If there were only 6 then I will mock you. Was it only 6?
But they tried to kill me!
Surprisingly enough I didn't spend too much time getting photographic proof so I wasn't mocked, instead I concentrated on getting them stoned, so do what you must.
This is the only other photo I took. For those who would mock; pls note there are several bees under some glasses I should have taken a picture of all the bastards outside, it was a little impressive/intimidating.
On a side note, seems they've retrieved the body of their fallen comrade, well either that or the rain washed it away. All I know is they've gone today
Didn't read the whole thread but I remember a while back ago there was a big ass hornets nest in between the windows(exterior/interior) of my dads room and it was nuts. We had to get a can of raid and spray the shit out of it, there was like 30 or 40 of them at least. I admittedly was to much of a pussy so I had my dad do it. I'm absolutely horrified of bees/wasps/hornets whatever the hell flies and stings.
My cold, snide, intellectual life is just a veneer, behind which lies the plywood of loneliness.
I've heard sometimes you get a bunch of bee congregating in one spot when the queen decides to relocate. What happens is she sends off lots of scouts to different locations. Then the scouts fly back to the hive to recruit more bees to join her. Eventually the spot that attracts the most bees is the chosen spot.
Guess you made it un-bee-friendly enough and scared them off.
