Nah, I don't like the drug that much. Good for some social occasions, but that's it for me. Some red wine alone is nice though.

I kind of know what you mean (though I do not watch gruesome movies).

Torture is as intimate as sex. I generally side with sex, though, what with the desire, pleasure, and creation, as oppose to the fear, pain, and destruction. But they are both intimate engagements, and I find that relation fascinating.
    Go to sleep, iguana.

And I'm at home because I work crazy hours and got off work at 10pm.
Where do you work? I can see you working as a barista, which isn't to say you're capable or qualified for more. It just works well with your personality.

Ajblaise, I hear you on that. i'm so sick of drinking. I hardly ever do it, and when i do, no matter who I'm with or what context I'm liking it less and less each time.

Edahn, yes, it's pronounced Jizza. It's from the rapper from the Wu Tang clan (hahaha, i'm so suburban), and his name is supposed to be "genius" scratched on a record player or soemthing like that.

My night sucked. go to the drunk thread for more details. It sucked a lot.

I hear that. I do that too, sometimes. It kinda "pulls you together," so to speak.

That's an interesting comparison that I've never heard. You seem to kinda have a dark side, though it doesn't really come out on the forum. Am I right?

I had a friend who used to use the phrase "tragic darkness" a lot. She showed me how tragedy could be beautiful. She used to be depressed and still has what I call residual depression, but she's fucking cool as hell.

Here's the calligraphy video for those interested. It's beautiful. Watch the strokes. Hard to see the detail, but you get the gist:

Major rule of thumb, when most people are out, I usually stay in, and vice versa. It's just how I roll, homie!!!

Sociology- if possible with a focus on the changing rural lifestyle.

I was a soc major for one of my undergrad degrees and found it to be the most interesting thing I studied!

Heh. I'm similar, except when people stay in, I often stay in too.

Actually, in law school, I used to go out for runs with my iPod mini (yeah, back in the early 90s or whatever) on Friday nights when everyone was out. It's empowering to stand out of the crowd and keep your independence.
